Madelynn has a beautiful smile and we were able to capture one in the making on camera!
She is now 2 months old and is growing well. At her two month check she weighed in at 14 lbs. 4.5 oz. and was 25 inches long!

Steve participated in his 2nd Half Marathon this year. His first was at Walt Disney World in January. All went well until mile 10 when his legs cramped up and he had to do some walking. I think it's great that he even wanted to do a half-marathon and that he finished it! We were all proud of his accomplishment.

Madelynn Joy was blessed on June 7th. We had lots of family and friends join us for this special occasion. Madelynn was a little tired after church and she cried through most of the pictures! It was a very special day for all of us.

Memorial Day at the Beach

On Memorial Day we headed to Cannon Beach with the kids. We spent a good 5+ hours on the beach. It was an absolutely beautiful day and we all had a relaxing and wonderful time, especially the kids. Madelynn experienced the beach for the first time and her reaction was to sleep almost the entire time we were there!

Sweet Pictures of Madelynn

A neighbor friend of mine offered to take some pictures of Madelynn in her blessing dress. She is the same friend who took our picture for our Christmas letter. She did a great job!

Grandma Bullock arrived the day we came home from the hospital. She couldn't wait to meet Madelynn.

The kids and Grandma Gold were among Madelynn's first visitors. They were overjoyed to meet her!

Madelynn Joy entered our world on April 23rd. Her sweetness and peaceful nature has touched our lives and brought us much joy already!

Just a note for those of you who didn't know...Benjamin broke his arm on March 19th. He is sporting his large cast in the Easter pictures, but this has since been replaced by a half-cast which starts just below his elbow. This gives him a lot better mobility, but still the protection he needs as an active 4 year-old to keep his bones on the mend. Here are pictures of the break that they took at the emergency room on the 19th of March, and a cute picture of him with his full cast. The cause of the break- a fall from the monkey bars!

Easter Morning

These pictures were taken before we headed off to church. The beautiful dresses were made by Grandma Gold.

Easter Weekend

The kids had a great time hunting for Easter eggs at the various egg hunts we participated in over the weekend.
